Since the Giles Bequest was received in 2022, Holy Trinity has given away $150,000+ in gifts and grants. Part of the Giles Bequest supplements our Outreach & Evangelism budgets, including Mo. Ellen Purdum's position and program costs. The vestry also commissioned the Giles Bequest Committee (GBC) to seek outreach initiatives from people outside the Parish, help them clarify their ideas, and advise the vestry on supporting them.

The Giles Bequest is for the outreach of the church. The vestry defines outreach as:

• tending to the material needs of our neighbors

• proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to our communities

• helping newcomers integrate as active members of the Body of Christ.
