Welcome

to Holy Trinity

Come as you are.

Welcome to this place of prayer, service, and belonging. Whether you are looking for a church home or just looking for a place to slip in quietly and worship God for a day, we are glad you are here.

The Details...

Enter Holy Trinity through any of our red doors (there are lots of them!). You’ll find us at 515 E. Ponce de Leone Avenue in downtown Decatur at the corner of Sycamore Place.

The first red door, facing Sycamore Place, puts you into Tisdale Hall, on our second floor, where we have fellowship, coffee, and doughnuts between services.

You’ll find our 8 a.m. service on the second floor, too, in the Chapel on the other side of Tisdale Hall.

Three giant red doors will take you into the Nave, our main sanctuary, where our 10:30 a.m. service takes place. It’s on the third level. Our parking lot, which you enter from Sycamore Place, just past the door to Tisdale Hall, is on that level. You can park there, on the street along Sycamore Place or across Ponce at Glenwood Elementary School.

Come as you are! Holy Trinity welcomes you in your shorts and flip-flops, your Sunday best, or anything in between.

HTP's Services

Meet Mo. Ellen

After you’ve attended one of our worship services, we hope you’ll meet Mo. Ellen. Her primary role at HTP is helping visitors and newcomers like you integrate into the parish’s common life and ministries.

She’ll encourage you to fill out a Welcome Card, hopefully using the QR code, or otherwise using the paper card found in your pew. It’ll allow her to be in touch to answer questions, hear some of your story, and help you discern if Holy Trinity might be the right church home for you

Children in Church

If you are bringing young children to church, THANK YOU! We challenge you to try to engage them in the holy drama of worship: teach them our prayers, show them when to stand or kneel, and use our Worship Bags (located outside the Chapel and Nave) to give busy hands something to do.

If you prefer, our nursery is available from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the 10:30 service, and it is located on the main (third) floor, next to the office reception area, which is to the right of the main sanctuary.
