The Rev. Rhett Solomon

Associate Rector

Father Rhett has been the Associate Rector of Holy Trinity Parish since 2020.  He oversees Children, Youth, and Adult Formation.

A native of New Jersey, he moved to Atlanta in 1999 to attend Morehouse College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2003. After graduating, he decided to answer a call to the ministry.

A licensed and ordained Baptist minister, Rhett served at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Atlanta from 2005 to 2008. Rhett was received by The Episcopal Church at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in May 2011. After years of managing a bookstore, Rhett joined St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta to serve as Parish Administrator, a position that he held until July 2021.

In the summer of 2020, Rhett earned his Master’s in Theology from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

Rhett is a divorced father of two beautiful daughters, Charlotte and Skye. His greatest loves are God, the ministry, and quality time with family and friends. He enjoys reading, writing, poetry, music, history, mythology, art, traveling, hiking, tennis, swimming, basketball, movies, theater-going, playing board and card games, and building LEGO sets.
