The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism. Members of the Order–women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the Historic Episcopate–pledge to follow Christ; to worship God every Sunday in His church; and to work, to pray, and to give for the spread of His Kingdom.
This past year, our members in DOK supported Holy Trinity Parish’s outreach/services in the area of Pastoral Care, funeral receptions, DEAM, Hagar’s House, Church of the Common Ground, Flower Guild, Altar Guild, Guild of the Christ Child, Greeters, Readers, Chalice Bearers, a Lenten supper, and other kitchen support services.
Sisters in DOK support one another with sharing at a monthly meeting on the First Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. with devotion, prayer and study. All meetings are open (and welcome women)
Holy Trinity Parish is an Episcopal church located at the heart of Decatur, GA. Our mission is to open hearts to God and doors to community.
