Our traditional English Afternoon Tea welcomes hundreds of visitors for tea, scones, and other treats. This annual event has raised over $70,000 for local outreach missions.
The 18th annual Holy Trinity English Afternoon Tea on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 is SOLD OUT.
Tickets for the traditional English tea — complete with cheese straws, lemon curd and scones — generally sell out at least a week before the event, so everyone is encouraged to purchase tickets early.
Last year, the 2 p.m. seating sold out in less than two weeks, and the 4 p.m. seating sold out more than a week before the event.
All food is prepared and served by volunteers from the parish. The first seating begins promptly at 2 p.m. and is following by a second seating at 4 p.m.
Funds from ticket sales are donated to Decatur area outreach ministries. Over the last 16 years, the organizers have contributed more than $70,000 to nonprofits such as Decatur Cooperative Ministries, the Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM), Our House, and Hagar’s House.
