The 18th annual Holy Trinity English Afternoon Tea will be Sunday, Feb. 25. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!
Tickets for the traditional English tea — complete with cheese straws, lemon curd and scones — generally sell out at least a week before the event, so everyone is encouraged to purchase tickets early. Tickets can be purchased at the parish office during regular office hours or reserved by calling the office at 404-377-2622,
“Last year, the 2 p.m. seating sold out in less than two weeks, and the 4 p.m. seating sold out more than a week before the event,” English Tea Committee Chair Joan Kidd said.
All food is prepared and served by volunteers from the parish. The first seating begins promptly at 2 p.m. and is following by a second seating at 4 p.m.
Funds from ticket sales are donated to Decatur area outreach ministries. Over the last 16 years, the organizers have contributed more than $70,000 to nonprofits such as Decatur Cooperative Ministries, the Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM), Our House, and Hagar’s House, Mrs. Kidd said.
Information on ticket sales will be posted here when available.
