HTP is visiting Common Ground on Sunday November 5.

The service starts at one o’clock by the International Peace Fountain in Woodruff Park. Here is a link to directions: https://goo.gl/maps/3uTRD. The best parking is on Park Place, but there are several lots off of John Wesley Dobbs Ave NE. Mary is retiring as Vicar at the end of November, so this will be the last time we’ll see her at CCG (except for the HTP youth who are visiting on 12/17 that is).

Those who wish to carpool, we’ll meet in the upstairs office after the 10:30 service. For the lunches, we’ll need the following:
  • Sandwiches
  • Water
  • Individual servings of powdered punch
  • Individual servings of fruit
  • Granola bars
  • Paper lunch sacks
  • (and if anyone wants to make them) hard-boiled eggs.
HTPs Common Ground ministry is a ministry of presence. We show up and make gifts of ourselves simply by sitting and chatting or attending as representatives of the Diocese who recognize the dignity of the congregation. Common Ground is the only church that exists solely on the streets of Atlanta, creating a sacred, sacramental space to meet the people where they live. Your being there makes a big difference.
If you’ve never been or are just curious to see how we’ve updated our visiting parishes Sunday welcome sheet.
