Next week, we move from Easter season to Ordinary Time (aka: summer, season after Pentecost, green season, etc.). From May 29 through August 7, our worship will have two changes.
First, instead of our usual full-text bulletin, we will go “old school” with a menu-style bulletin that lists the pages in the prayer book and hymnal. It might feel a little disorienting at first, but it’s actually a lot of fun to do the old “prayer book/hymnal juggle.”
Second, we are all thinking about ways to focus on congregational singing this summer. We’re not sure what that means yet, but if you have a favorite hymn in the 1982 Hymnal that you really want to sing, let the clergy know.
